I have been photographing upper atmosphere aerosol phenomenon for about four years now, most of these photos were taken in Kirkland Washington USA. I am including photos of mares tail clouds that some people consider the spirits of the air or “Sylph”.

It begins

Slightly later, notice the jet below the trail.

These are all artificial/induced by planes

Some call this phenomenon "sylph activity"
